Our friendly and passionate team at Abberton Reservoir Nature Discovery Park provide fantastic customer service to our visitors to the Trust. Situated on the picturesque views over the reservoir, the site is important for its breeding cormorants, wintering, moulting waterfowl and is an excellent location for avid bird watchers.

The post holder will need to be a team player who can interact with our visitors in a friendly and engaging way, ensuring excellent customer service always at the forefront. Working predominately within the café, the post holder will be taking orders, preparing and serving hot and cold food and beverage orders and clearing tables. We are looking for a friendly individual with an interest in catering, nature and wildlife in this visitor engagement role. Profits from our Nature Discovery Centre’s are used to fund the conservation, educational and other key work of the Trust.

The is six-month fixed term position working 25 hours per week on a rota basis between Sunday and Saturday (working at least every other weekend). The starting salary for £14,872 per annum (FTE £22,308.00).

Annual leave entitlement starts at 26 days per annum increasing annually to 29 days plus Bank Holidays.
